After our first weekend in Serowe, Botswana the two dioceses of North Carolina and Newcastle, along with four youth from Botswana, spent several days of rest and adventure at
Stevenford Game Reserve, Tuli Block. We cooked our own meals, enjoyed Eucharist around a bonfire, went on several safari rides and even help assemble traps for capturing giraffes.
To our immense relief Cameron saw a giraffe on the safari today and Conor was reunited with his giraffe family. We all have fantastic pics of the giraffes, zebras and other animals. When we woke up it was freezing outside but the safari was worth it. We are on our way to Gaborone and are hoping we don't get lost.... Again. Hopefully Old Faithful the bus won't disappoint.
