Sunset Near Border Between South Africa and Botswana
After a 16 hour flight to South Africa and waiting over an hour for our bus, our group of 25 spent the next 10 hours aboard a bus traveling across South Africa from Johannesburg to Serowe, Botswana. Having watched three Harry Potter movies, we realized we were lost, at which time Nils texted his wife, Kelly, in Durham, NC to get directions. Kelly guided us through small towns and villages with her many texted messages, helping us reach the border around 7:00. We finally arrived in Serowe around 10:30 PM, tired and hungry.
